The First Thanksgiving Preschool Program (CMGC)

26 Nov 2025 Did you know the first Thanksgiving was celebrated in St. Augustine, Florida in 1565 by the Spanish and Timucuan natives? Join us for a kid-friendly exploration into the history of Thanksgiving! We'll be learning about what they would have eaten at Florida's first Thanksgiving and have hands-on activities related to colonial Florida history.

Pioneer Christmas: Holiday Crafts

27 Dec 2025 Come celebrate Christmas the way the pioneers did! Most pioneer families created their decorations from fabric, food, and materials found on hand. They usually decorated the day before Christmas. Many families kept Christmas items up until either New Years Day or the Epiphany. Come create ornaments and holiday cards. This event is free and open to all ages.
